How We Track Graduates

We use Open Badges to allow our graduates to indicate on their public profiles that they have completed the work of learning and demonstrating proficiency with the Becoming a Best Boss System.

Graduate, Leadership Course

The recipient has attended at least 3/4 of the sessions of a 12 week or longer course of study of the Becoming a Best Boss leadership curriculum, has completed 90% of all assignments with acceptable quality, and has demonstrated a working understanding of the skills of a Best Boss, including:

  • Listening
  • Giving actionable performance feedback
  • Relating and Requiring
  • Coaching
  • Setting Goals
  • Confronting Problems

Certified Best Boss Skills

The recipient has passed certification in basic skills of a Best Boss, including:

  • Listening
  • Giving actionable performance feedback
  • Relating and Requiring
  • Coaching
  • Setting Goals
  • Confronting Problems

The recipient has passed an examination that demonstrates a working understanding of, and skill at engaging in, the behaviors of a Best Boss. These include the cluster of behaviors that build strong relationships with their team, and the cluster of behaviors that drive team performance.
